Join us to celebrate Pez’s 20th anniversary with an exclusive show and augmented reality event!
The whole month of August, we will honour the legendary street artist El Pez and celebrate his 20th anniversary of street art by hosting a special anniversary exhibition called “Smiling with friends”.
Originally from Barcelona, Jose Sabate “PEZ”, now lives in Colombia and works all over the world. For this 20 year milestone, Pez is having anniversary exhibitions in different places of the world and Base Elements is proud to host the show in his hometown, in collaboration with Beyond Street Art.

Besides his signature artwork, Pez has invited some of his closest artist friends to create collaboration pieces with him to celebrate his anniversary. These are artists like Keis, Kenor, Blob, Chainoir, El Xupet Negre, Birdie, Kamil, Slomo, Ovni, Zosen, Chan, Jloca and Soem.
For this show, we are teaming up with Beyond Street Art who will launch the first ever augmented reality street art app and will bring Pez’s work in the streets of Barcelona and at the gallery to life.
